HISTORY
EBP DESIGN GROUP CONSULTING ENGINEERS, PSC is a Civil Engineering firm established in San Juan, Puerto Rico by Enrique Blanes-Palmer, P.E. It was originally created under the name of Professional Designers, and on April 16, 1991, its name was changed to EBP Design Group, when the firm became a sole ownership. Ten years later, in 2001, it became incorporated under the name of EBP DESIGN GROUP CONSULTING ENGINEERS, PSC. In May 2003, we expanded our firm by creating an Inspection and Project Management Division.
In its conception, EBP Design Group concentrated its efforts in offering the best civil engineering design and consulting services. As a result of the professionalism, client-targeted service and undisputable excellence in their designs, EBP Design Group expanded its services into becoming one of the prime planning and all-inclusive engineering firms in Puerto Rico. Currently, EBP’s capacity ranges from working as the prime professionals in charge for major developments, subcontracting other engineering specialties to high-standard professionals, to performing as civil designers, planners, and/or surveyors with other teams.
There is no limit to what we can accomplish.
EBP is currently composed of engineers, engineering technicians, drafters, permit specialists, planners, land surveying teams, construction managers, accountants and secretaries. Most of the members of our team have worked together for many years, building a solid internal team than translates into successful projects. The excellence of our work, our commitment to quality, our professional services and local knowledge have distinguished us along the years and help assure that the projects are always completed with the excellence we aim.

ORGANIZATION
Our company is organized into four main divisions: Civil Engineering Design, Land Surveying, Permitting and Planning and Construction Management and Inspection Services. EBP is mostly known for its site design and planning expertise, and we are proud to have worked with the Federal, State and Municipal Government, as well as with top private developers and architects.
